Metal Stamping Services
Changdong provides custom metal stamping services based on 2D drawings and available 3D CAD data. Our stamping support covers prototype samples, die tryout parts, small-batch validation, and production-ready stamped metal components.
As a manufacturer with in-house tooling and stamping capability, Changdong can connect die development, press tryout, stamping production, inspection, and process feedback within one workflow. When forming, trimming, burr, hole position, surface mark, or dimensional issues are found, our tooling, stamping, and quality teams can review the problem together and make the required adjustment.
With 8 stamping presses from 45T to 800T and coil feeding support for progressive stamping projects, Changdong can handle different part sizes, forming loads, tooling structures, and production requirements. This integrated support helps customers move from tooling development to stamped part production with clearer communication and more stable process control.
press capacity

Changdong supports coil-fed progressive stamping for projects requiring controlled material feeding and continuous multi-station production. During operation, coil material is automatically fed into the press at a defined pitch, while the progressive die completes operations such as piercing, trimming, bending, forming, and final part separation.
To strengthen our coil handling and progressive stamping capability, Changdong is adding a new NCLF-1300H 3-in-1 coil feeding system in 2026. The integrated system combines decoiling, straightening, and feeding functions in one production line, helping reduce material handling steps and improve feed consistency.
The equipment supports coil material from 100 mm to 1300 mm wide and 0.6 mm to 6.0 mm thick, with a maximum coil outer diameter of 1400 mm, an inner diameter range of 480–520 mm, and coil weight capacity up to 10 tons. Its straightening section uses five upper and five lower rollers, supported by an 11 kW straightening motor.
From Tooling to Stamped Part
Reliable stamped parts depend on more than press capacity alone. The final result is influenced by forming feasibility, die structure, machining accuracy, assembly condition, press setup, sample feedback, and process stability.
Changdong connects CAE simulation, 3D die design, CNC machining, WEDM, die assembly, tryout, sample inspection, and production support within one coordinated workflow. Each stage provides practical feedback to the next, helping the engineering, tooling, tryout, inspection, and stamping teams work from the same project requirements.
When forming, dimensional, trimming, or surface issues are identified during tryout or sample inspection, the results can be communicated directly to the relevant team for die correction or process adjustment. This integrated approach helps reduce communication gaps, shorten response time, and support a smoother transition from tooling development to stable stamped part production.
